There is a second machine we are looking at and will have more info soon

With this pricetag we are going to make this an addon component of the project.  If we find a funder who likes it we will do it, if not it will just be a good idea.

here are some additional links to other biogas stuff we are researching

We are going to have space for a kiosk that can be rolled out of the building onto broad street. We are planning to invite as many organizations and companies to come down and man the kiosk for a month and educate folks on what their organization does or what their company sells. It will every eco minded entity in the city to leverage this project.

The project is going to need a good bit of volunteer help to maintain it over the five years at broad and south. So we are going to need to link up with local schools and local job programs.  We are creating that list over the next week or so.

If we can find a prize sponsor for the greenlife tv show it looks like we may be able to secure production of the show.  We are working with a few folks to find that sponsor. We need to identify brands that would gain something by sponsoring the show and create the pitch or spin for that brand.  We need to create at least 10 ideas before we can go back to the person helping us with this.

We have really started looking at the second sites and several of them will not work out.  But their are some additional sites that we are exploring that could increase the farm size and the ability for the project to take compost.

It is not looking good for the small biogas

We are not having good luck finding a unit of the size we need at the price point we were hoping for.

But on the positive side of things we are finding a good bit of interest for places to divert waste to our unit and pay to do so.

We are working on estimating the cost for moving our 7,200 sf building from one site to another in the city and re-installing it at the new location.  We just need something that is believable and has some line-items that show some rationale for the estimate/guess.  One issue that came up to keep in mind is that; should the bldg codes change prior to the relocation, the building will have to be brought up to code as part of the move. There is no way to anticipate this so the value will be based on dismantling, moving and reassembly. We will have to place a new value on foundations and utilities at site 2.

We think the project is going to need a portfolio of schools to bring to funders to identify the educational offering of the project components.  This will help enhance the school curriculum and allow UGP to keep costs down by using the students to help with some of the projects daily chores.

Philly has so many great PR firms.  The meetings went well. All of the teams had a lot of energy and are willing to put some pro bono time in before January to help the project along.
